Aparna Davé, the principal attorney of the Law Office of Aparna Davé, received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1992 and B.A. in Sociology (summa cum laude) in 1989. She worked at the Immigration Clinic of Harvard Law School.

Aparna Davé was on the Editorial Board and Staff of Boston University School of Law's Public Interest Law Journal. This prestigious position represents a measure of esteem for which law students strive and are chosen on the basis of academic standing and outstanding legal writing abilities, which are acknowledged by peers.

Attorney Davé specializes in all immigration matters and represent clients throughout the world before the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS). She has worked in the areas of immigration, family, housing and employment law as an attorney in the government and private law firms. She is a lawyer of the new era who assumes the role of a problem solver as opposed to a problem handler. Teamwork and partnership with clients, facilitated by technology, are the key themes of the firm. She provides high quality legal services at reasonable fees.

Ms. Davé is a member of several legal and professional associations. She is active in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), annually attending and discussing immigration issues at this conference. She is the Liaison and Lobbyist to the Department of Labor, Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, Congress and Senate for several corporations.

Attorney Davé frequently meets or conferences with senior officials of the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Consulates as well as the different BCIS Service Centers in the U.S. to discuss policies and procedures in order to more effectively serve the clients of her law firm. She regularly communicates with the Consular Chiefs and other senior officials at the U.S. Consulates, particularly in India.

Aparna Davé is regularly invited to present papers and speak at seminars and before immigrant groups on various complex immigration law issues in the U.S. and abroad. She is regularly interviewed by television network affiliates to discuss immigration law issues. She is a featured speaker every Saturday morning on the television network Image-in-Asian. She is also featured in many international publications such as Silicon India, Indian Express, Gujarat Samachar and Times of India for her worldwide practice in U.S. immigration law. Ms. Davé is the author of numerous publications in immigration law.

Ms. Davé has been on the Board of Directors of several professional and civic organizations, including the Indian Cultural Coordination Committee of Washington, DC. She leads the DC Chapter of VIDYA, a non-profit, non-governmental organization for integrated development for youth and adults in India. She continues to be a leader and team player in several organizations.

Attorney Davé is an active member of the Maryland State Bar Association and District of Columbia Bar Association.  She is also a member of the Massachusetts State Bar Association.
