Aparna Davé was on the Editorial Board and Staff of Boston University School of Law's Public Interest Law Journal. This prestigious position represents a measure of esteem for which law students strive and are chosen on the basis of academic standing and outstanding legal writing abilities, which are acknowledged by peers. Attorney Davé specializes in all immigration matters and represent clients throughout the world before the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (BCIS). She has worked in the areas of immigration, family, housing and employment law as an attorney in the government and private law firms. She is a lawyer of the new era who assumes the role of a problem solver as opposed to a problem handler. Ms. Davé has been on the Board of Directors of several professional and civic organizations, including the Indian Cultural Coordination Committee of Washington, DC. She leads the DC Chapter of VIDYA, a non-profit, non-governmental organization for integrated development for youth and adults in India.
